Monday Fitness: Finisher Exercises - Add This To Legs Day for a Final Butt Kicking

By now you know, friends don’t let friends skip leg day.




If you’re looking to build up your strength, power and endurance, there are a number of important exercises to incorporate. But, that’s for another day. Right now, we’re talking about what comes right after leg day, right after you’ve racked the squat bar and want to rest those tired legs.



Add this “fun” finishing exercise on to really get the quads and glutes burning! Lasting under a minute, you won’t believe how tired your legs will be. This finishing series is comprised of four exercises with 20 reps each.

Finish Leg Day: Move directly from one exercise to the next, no rest. Time yourself so you can track improvement!

  • Exercise 1: 20 full squats
  • Exercise 2: 20 alternating lunges (step forward with right foot, lunge, step back, repeat on left leg)
  • Exercise 3: 20 jumping split squats (aka jumping lunges)
  • Exercise 4: 20 jumping squats Trust us, your legs will be screaming by that last jumping squat.


You’ll be so happy that you waited until the very end to throw in these finishers!
